  1. Political Risk Assessments
    Operations in remote and/or hostile regions can impose a variety of additional risks to company personnel impacting on the effectiveness of business. Risks such as criminality, disease and extremes of climate or war are a reality in the world. Ignoring these risks can be costly. TDA's network of regional offices around the globe provides TDA with the pulse of the political climate. TDA is well placed to receive and disseminate information, which may give early warning of impending security, political or economic situations that could impact people, reputation and assets. If you are overly concerned about the dangers associated with operating in particular regions or environments this will have negative impact on your operational effectiveness. Conversely, if you are oblivious to the dangers you will be vulnerable and at risk. TDA provided continual updated political risk assessment reports and bulletins.   2. Specific Location Threat Assessments
    1. Security Briefings - Effective security programs require a continuous and conscious awareness of the security environment. TDA found that realistic, focused security awareness briefings significantly reduce the vulnerability of our clients to criminal or terrorist acts. The objective of security awareness briefings is to make employees more aware of the security risks they may have to face in both a work and off-duty environment. The briefing helps employees to identify and avoid potentially threatening situations. Briegings will include such topics as:

      The purpose of this service is to provide executives with an awareness of their security environment in order to reduce the risk of encountering dangerous situations with the objective of enhancing awareness of personal threat (e.g. kidnap), personal security conduct, personal security enhancement techniques, personal defense theory and case studies.
    2. Threat Assessments - TDA is able to study the history and patterns of criminal activity for a given geographical area. Based on this information we can make a detailed assessment of the risk to company infrastructure and personnel. Having accurately identified the level of risk we can then study company operations and procedures and make objective recommendations on the most effective measures needed to minimize and manage identified risks.
    3. Information Services - Around the globe, TDA's affiliates are continually gathering information. In 1998, we established a Risk Management Information Center in Colombia to provide clients with timely information on the nation-wide security situation. The center also assesses the daily changing social, political and economic scene and their impact on the security situation. We currently produce several reports: Colombian Weekly Incident Report, Monthly Statistic Report and Weekly Road Report, which provide assessment and analysis of the current situation of the country.

  3. Executive/Key Personnel Protection Services
    1. Guards, Bodyguards and Motorcyclist Support & VIP Protection - TDA can provide trained personnel to reinforce the security of your facilities and/or personnel. This service can be provided on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. TDA can supply important executives with a vehicle and highly trained (armed) security escort drivers. The objective of the service is to deliver the executive safely to his final destination.
    2. Meet & Greet Services - TDA has key security personnel in the international airports of South America (Bogotá, Quito, Mexico City, Caracas, Guayaquil) and Asia (Hong Kong Singapore, Thailand, Japan, Korea) who can support clients in the customs procedures and deliver them safely to their final destination or to the airport with the minimum of inconvenience.
    3. VIP Protection Vehicles with driver bodyguard to transport personnel from the airport to the city or any other place they need to go.
    4. Emergency Response Service (ERS) - TDA's representatives are available 24 hours to respond to any security alert. TDA will monitor an established emergency phone, mobile phone and fax to give our clients an immediate response to their requirements. This 24-hour service deters the potential threat of crime to clients' facilities and residences and reacts to clients' security problems within minutes of request for assistance.

  4. Physical Location Security Surveys and Audits
    Physical security surveys identify vulnerabilities in the physical security measures required to protect a building or installation. Our analysts are able to make specific security surveys of clients' facilities, the personnel and their residences. The survey covers all aspects of physical security (Barriers, Alarms, Locks, Access Control, CCTV etc.) and makes practical, cost effective recommendations for improvement. Good physical security is important because it provides a visible deterrent that the installation is well protected and is therefore a less attractive target for criminal and/or terrorist operations. Our Security Surveys may include:
    1. Commercial Security Survey - The purpose of this service is to gain a strategic understanding of the security threats in the business environment that impact the client's company, also audit the client's security organization and finally make recommendations to improve the organization's security weaknesses. The scope of this service comprises a security consultant or team of consultants undertaking an analysis of the security environment in which a client's business operates. Following the analysis, an audit of the organization's current security organization is undertaken. The objective is to produce recommendations in a survey report to improve security for the business. The report is the final physical product.
    2. Residential Security Survey - The purpose of this service is to provide the client with recommendations for securing an executive's residence. The scope of this service comprises a security consultant undertaking a physical security survey of an executive's residence. The objective is to produce a survey report with recommendations for security improvements. The report is the final physical product.
    3. Security Environment Analysis - The purpose of this service is to understand the security/business environment in order to provide security recommendations to the client. The scope of this service comprises a security consultant undertaking an analysis of the security environment in which a client's business operates in order to identify the security threats that will impact a business. The objective is to produce generic recommendations, based on the analysis, in the form of a report to improve security for the business. The report is the final physical product.
    4. Security Organization Restructuring - The purpose of this service is to improve a client's security organization through restructuring. The scope of this service comprises a security consultant, or team of consultants, undertaking a 'Commercial Security Survey' first and then implementing the recommendations from the survey report in the form of a project. The objectives are to produce a security survey report, an improvement project plan, regular project status reports, a final project report and a Security Procedures Manual resulting in a physical change and improvement of the client's security organization.
    5. Audits - The scope of service comprises regular auditing of the organization by an objective consultant using quantitative and qualitative measures to ensure the quality of service being provided. Quality control, however, can also be undertaken on any unrestructured security organization. A minimum of annual audits and a maximum of quarterly audits are recommended. The final physical product is a Quality Control procedure document and report.

  5. Kidnap and Ransom Consulting
    Most kidnaps are avoidable if employees follow a number of simple rules. However, in the unfortunate event of a kidnapping, an employee needs instruction on how to successfully survive the ordeal with the minimum of physical and psychological trauma. We can provide kidnap and survival conferences to employees. In the event of a kidnapping, TDA will deploy one of the world's most experienced Kidnap & Ransom specialist teams. This team has a huge amount of experience built up in key regions-principally South and Central America, as well as experience working in Europe, Africa and Asia.

  6. Personnel Extraction and Rescue Services
    There has been one major country evacuation from Latin American in recent history (Bechtel - Bolivia). Local site evacuations within countries do occur and require careful management. TDA will provide qualified security personnel immediately when required to assist with temporary evacuation of its employees from designated countries. All managers and consultants have served in high-risk areas and are experienced in risk management and emergency response.

  7. Fraud and Corruption Investigations
    With our team of experienced investigators, TDA can carry out investigations across a wide range of issues including leak of information, corruption, robbery, narcotic links, common criminal links and fraud. The service is discreet and confidential, being sensitive to the clients' needs and is well aware of the risk of subsequent action following an investigation where employees are found to be at fault and which may result in the removal of employees. TDA's team of investigators includes Computer Forensic Specialists.

  8. Investigative Due Diligence Services
    Our investigative professionals deliver incisive in depth intelligence on business and people everywhere in the world: their backgrounds, reputations, operating histories, likely intentions, strategies and tactics.
